Do you know that you can trade-in unwanted cards in Ragnarok M: Eternal Love? King Poring is a NPC in Ragnarok M: Eternal Love that allows you to trade-in, recycle and craft cards.
King Poring will be unlocked when you reach Base Level 50. King Poring is located at Prontera South Gate just above the Music Box. Speaking to King Poring will give you 3 available options for cards:
- Card Reproduction – Card Trade-in System
- Haute Couture – Card Fusion System
- Card Decomposition – Card Recycling System
In this guide, we will teach how to go about using King Poring to get new cards.
Card Reproduction is a card trade-in system and it works by trading in 3 cards to get a random card out from a fixed pool of cards. The colour of the card obtained depends on the combination of cards you choose to trade-in. More on Card Reproduction Rates will be discussed as you read on.
On the left, you will see your Card Selection showing the cards you own which are available for trade-in. Note that not all Cards can be traded-in. Cards such as Boss Cards cannot be traded-in. On the right, you will see the Draw Pool where a random card from the list will be given to you upon trading-in 3 cards.
Once you are ready, tap confirm and King Poring will do his work and a new card will be given to you at random from the Draw Pool.
In addition, you will also get 1x Card album remains. Collecting 5x Card album remains will allow you to merge them to obtain 1x Emil’s Card Album.
Using the Emil’s Card Album will allow you to obtain 1 random card. This also means that for every 5 Card Reproductions you do, you will get 1 random card for free! However, do note that Emil’s Card Album will not unlock the permanent bonus for the card obtained.
Card Reproduction Rates
The chances of obtaining a white, green or blue card depends on the colour of the cards you have traded-in.
|Cards Traded In||Chance of getting a White (W) Card||Chance of getting a Green (G) Card||Chance of getting a Blue (B) Card|

Which card you get is totally random but if you are aiming to get a green or a blue card then it would be most logical to trade-in 3 green cards to eliminate getting a white card altogether.
If you are planning to buy cards for Card Reproduction, the selling price of the card does not affect the rates so make sure you use the cheapest cards available on the Exchange for each colour (white, green or blue).
You may use the data above to narrow your chances to get a card of a specific colour. But it is not recommended to use Card Reproduction to turn a profit as the card you get is totally random and purely based on luck. Statistically, you will still lose money in the long run.
Tip: Cards obtained by Card Reproduction is the same as obtaining a card drop so you will still earn Permanent Unlock Bonus associated with the card. Card Reproduction is a good way to unlock these bonuses if you have spare zeny or plenty of unwanted cards.
Haute Couture on the other hand is a Card Fusion System where you can craft a new card by using specific cards and/or gram dust (you will learn how to obtain gram dusts as you read further).
The cards available for crafting are listed on the right. Tapping on the card you wish to obtain will show you the cards required in order to craft it.
All you need to do is farm or buy the required cards from the Exchange and craft them in order to obtain the card on the left. There are some Cards that are only obtainable in Haute Couture such as ★ Cards. Cards obtained through Haute Couture is the same as obtaining a card drop so you will still earn Permanent Unlock Bonus associated with the card.
Do you know? There are 2 cards which are popular with Assassin Cross (Crit. Build) and ADL Snipers. Steam Goblin Card and Goblin Archer Card can be crafted through Haute Couture to obtain their unlock bonus (+5% Crit. Dmg)!

Card Decomposition as the name suggests is a Card Recycling System where you dump unwanted Cards in order to get gram dust. Gram Dust is required for crafting of ★ Cards. The amount of Gram Dust obtained depends on the colour of the card decomposed.
|Colour of Card Decomposed||Amount of Gram Dust Obtained|
Similar to Card Reproduction, the selling price of the card does not affect the amount of Gram Dust obtained so make sure you use the cheapest cards available on the Exchange for each colour white, green or blue.
If you have unwanted cards that can’t seem to be sold on the Exchange, Card Reproduction and Decomposition is a good way to obtain new cards or gram dusts for Haute Couture. Haute Couture allow you to craft ★ Cards which cannot be obtained from monsters in-game and also craft cards such as Steam Goblin Card and Goblin Archer Card which gives valuable unlock bonus to certain classes.
