As part of Goblin Spring Celebration, Ragnarok M: Eternal Love has launched a Goblin Carnival running from 15 April 2019 to 20 April 2019.
In this event, you may exchange gems for Spring Symphony which you can use to redeem items from the Spring Symphony Shop. You should already have Spring Symphony if you followed our previous event guide Goblin Rescue (An Unwanted Guest) Quest.
Where to exchange gems for Spring Symphony?
Look for Ambassador “Yowloo” NPC located at Geffen West Entrance.
You can exchange 2 types of gems each day for Spring Symphony limited to 40 Spring Symphony per type of gem per day. You can exchange 8 gems for 4 Spring Symphony. So if you make the exchange daily, you should get 80 Spring Symphony per day.
The type of gems will change daily so make sure you make the exchange before the end of the day if you wish to exchange.
Is it worth it to exchange gems for Spring Symphony?
Assuming that you have gotten the Spring Celebration Card from the Spring Symphony accumulated in the previous event, the main items you should be aiming for are Mora Coin, Oracle Dust and Oracle Crystal.
All 3 items can be bought using Zeny from NPCs.
The prices of the 3 items are listed below:
|Item||NPC||NPC Item Cost||Spring Symphony Required|
|Mora Coin||Hokkala Kim “Event Merchant” at Prontera||50,000z||10|
|Oracle Dust||Cat Friend NPC at Geffen||50,000z||10|
|Oracle Crystal||Cat Friend NPC at Geffen||100,000z||15|
Gem prices at the time of writing:
|Gem Type||Exchange Cost|
Since Mora Coin cost the same as Oracle Dust, we will combine them and the total amount of Spring Symphony required to exchange all of them (Mora Coin 12 x 10 = 120) and (Oracle Dust 10 x 10 = 100) is 220.
The total cost if you bought these items from NPC is 50,000z x (12 +10) = 1,100,000z.
220 Spring Symphony can be exchanged using 440 gems.
For the exchange to be equal to what you get from NPC, the gems should cost you 1,100,000 / 440 = 2,500z each.
At the time of writing, the closest to 2,500z is Aquamarine but you still lose zeny as compared to buying Mora Coin and Oracle Dust from the NPC.
Now let’s take a look at Oracle Crystal. Using the same method, the total amount of Spring Symphony required to exchange all the Oracle Crystal (10 x 15 = 150) is 150.
The total cost if you bought Oracle Crystal from NPC is 100,000z x 10 = 1,000,000z.
150 Spring Symphony can be exchanged using 300 gems.
For the exchange to be equal to what you get from NPC, the gems should cost you 1,000,000 / 300 = 3,333z each.
At the time of writing, the only gem that is worth exchanging is Aquamarine which costs lower than 3,333z. You will lose zeny if you use the other 3 gems.
In general, this event is not worth exchanging for gems for Spring Symphony. You can buy Mora Coin, Oracle Dust and Oracle Crystal directly from NPCs without limit and it costs cheaper than exchanging using gems except for using Aquamarines to exchange Oracle Crystal.
The only items worth using gems to exchange are Spring Celebration Card, Base and Job Potions (Only if you really need the potions since they can also be obtained from Pet Labor Item Shop).
